Chris's platform game, Phenology zombie
A game where zombies try and stop you from watering plants, the goal of the game is to get to the weird looking flower.
To play, you use the up key to jump, left and right keys to move left and right, and space button to shoot.
Also N key to skip level and P key to go to previous level.

I found the game very interesting, I learned that Phenology the study of plant life :)
ReplyDeleteThe levels seemed to have increased a good rate and it got exceptionally harder throughout the levels
One thing, i got stuck, I could not move on the 4 level between the two platforms on the bottom of the screen.

The levels weren't the hardest but you added more monsters which made it harder.
Change the bird monster and gun because it doesn't relate to phenology. Also maybe add music?

Your game was pretty good, although I don't know if watering plants is really all that your research is about.

One thing I might make different is making the watering guy able to go down the vines, because he can only go up.

try to make the main person smaller.
It was okay, the first few levels were completely devoid of anything but ground and when the levels did have enemies and the like they didn't really increase in difficulty. As for the research it gets an D+ because it had barely any connection to the research but did provide some facts.
ReplyDeletefor fun it gets a C because it was okay but there was no real difficulty increase and there were areas that were not solid and there was no indication of that. Also there were areas that were solid made from the sprites of areas that normally were not solid, and again there was no indication.
